Upcoming film makes 'Where The Wild Things Are' come alive
When you think of your favorite children's books, it's likely that "Where The Wild Things Are" is at the top of your list. You might have enjoyed this book when you were just a kid or maybe it was a favorite that you read to your own children time and time again.

Because of its popularity, it comes as no surprise that there is much anticipation for the feature-length film that premieres October 16. The book was written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak, who has been very involved with director Spike Jonze in the making of the film.

The endearing story centers on Max, whose imaginary world full of wild creatures makes him king. Through his adventures, which sometimes are more difficult than Max originally anticipated, he learns about himself, the unpredictable nature of life and the meaning of family. His experiences in this imaginary world help him to learn more about his reality.

In addition to a story that everyone loves, the trailer and photography of the movie show a visually stunning creation that will tantalize the eyes as an imaginary world of a little boy comes to life.

You too can become a wild thing! Whether young or old, the story will have special meaning when you enjoy it at a theater near you. Visit http://wherethewildthingsare.warnerbros.com today for more tasty tidbits on the film.
